Understanding Maine’s Proposed Paid Family and Medical Leave Program Rules
On May 20, the Maine Department of Labor published draft proposed rules governing Maine’s recently enacted Paid Family and Medical Leave program. The rules provide some clarity as to the DOL’s proposed implementation of the Program, as well as information concerning employers’ responsibilities and employee rights.
